Camping 2022 Part 1 Wednesday
Wednesday!! We never leave this late. Grant will remember getting up at 6 am to head out on Saturday! And here it is. Almost 10 am on Wednesday, August 24. Spent it first two hours taking a slow your of Minnetonka. Gary grew up here and much had changed. As our trips have no agenda nor schedule, this is just part of relaxing and discovery. Our first night out Camping 2022. First time ever for either of us being at Lac que Parle State Park.. Definitely a prairie campground but no bugs; just four common gophers enjoying the short grassy campground. Two rivers meeting below, including the Minnesota. One tree for a bit of shade. So quiet!!!!! So isolated (this is a walk-in tent site). Heaven! Will be a cool night for sleeping.
